Patriots 2025 NFL Free Agency and Draft
It’s no secret the Patriots had plenty of holes to fill this offseason. They started by hiring Mike Vrabel as head coach, with Josh McDaniels returning as offensive coordinator and Terrell Williams taking over the defense. Free agency brought in key additions, including WR Stefon Diggs, WR Mack Hollins, CB Carlton Davis III, and DT Milton Williams.
New England used the draft to build depth, starting with LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell in the first round. They also added Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson, Cal safety Craig Woodson, and Florida State defensive lineman Joshua Farmer. Altogether, these moves give the Patriots a more stable foundation as they look to climb back into playoff contention.
What Pick Did the Patriots Have in the 2025 NFL Draft?
New England ended the 2024 season with a 4–13 record, landing the Patriots the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. New England took offensive lineman Will Campbell out of LSU, a player known for his toughness, consistency, and high-level experience in the SEC. Campbell started every game of his college career and allowed just five sacks over three seasons. He’s expected to be a day-one starter and a key part of protecting quarterback Drake Maye.

How Many Super Bowls Have the Patriots Won?
The New England Patriots have won six Super Bowls, tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most in NFL history. That puts them ahead of the 49ers (5), Cowboys (5), Packers (4), and every other team in the league.
Four of those six titles came with Tom Brady winning Super Bowl MVP. The Patriots' first three championships (2001–2004) were each decided by three points. Adam Vinatieri kicked game-winning field goals to beat the Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI and the Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII. The third win in that stretch came over the Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX.
After a 10-year title drought, New England returned to the top with a dramatic win over the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, sealed by Malcolm Butler’s unforgettable goal-line interception. The Patriots followed that with an iconic comeback in Super Bowl LI, erasing a 28–3 deficit to beat the Falcons 34–28 in overtime. Then, in Super Bowl LIII, they held the Rams without a touchdown in a 13–3 defensive slugfest.
As for losses, the Patriots fell to the Eagles in Super Bowl LII and to the Giants in both Super Bowl XLII and XLVI.
