NBA Finals MVP Odds 2024: Jaylen Brown Takes Home Finals MVP

Fact Checked by Thomas Leary

  • 👀The Celtics defeated the Mavericks 4-1 in the NBA Finals, delivering their first NBA title since 2008.
  • 📈Jaylen Brown took home NBA Finals MVP, beating out Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis.

The Boston Celtics just closed out their first NBA title since 2008, winning a commanding 4-1 series over the Dallas Mavericks.

BetMassachusetts.com had been providing hypothetical odds on which player from the Celtics or Mavericks would win Finals MVP all series. Once the Celtics were very much in the driver's seat ahead of Friday's Game 4 in Dallas, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving were in danger of falling off the board entirely, while Jaylen Brown overtook Jayson Tatum as the heavy favorite.

Brown ended up winning 2024 Finals MVP after the Celtics closed out the Mavericks at home on Monday night. During the NBA Finals, Brown averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, five assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks in the series.
